Guest
Hi Olli,I got the same thing! i automaticly login when i open admin. Can anyone help us secure this issue? albert if you are using cpanel, on your host, just enable .htaccess by doing the following: in cpanel go to password protect directories, next you want to select the directory that your admin panel is in, usually catalog/admin in teh next window the admin folder should already be checked, so skip down to the lower section put in your username you want to authorize, and the password then click on add/modify authorized user button. thats all there is to that. in the linux install, unless you are hosting the site from that install, you don't need to worry about securing it. However, if you are hosting your website from your linux install, then I would recommend reading this tutorial http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/htaccess.shtml.
