Browse Images

I have a set of images on my root folder that I use for my main site. When a visitor is transferred to

the osCommerce part, I want them to see those same images.

 

When it comes time to select an image for a product, I click Browse Images.

 

I tried putting in the url to the image on my root folder. I click Save and nothing happens. It seems

the only way to browse for an image and use it is to retrieve it off my hard drive and save it, which

now gives me a duplicate of that image...one in my root folder and one in /catalog/images.

 

Isn't there any way to point and save an image somewhere else instead of my hard drive?
