smeezy Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I had a friend setup my website but we are no longer friends. He knows my password and I'd like to change it but I looked everywhere on my site's admin page but to no avail. My webhost is godaddy.com and when I go to log in my page the pop up box appears asking for password/user. So frustrating, I called godaddy but they can't help so I'm out of luck. I searched the forum but I couldn't understand the terminology such as what .htaccess or whatever is. Can someone please help? Thanks.
lostndazed Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Does godaddy have a website control panel? The password protection feature is on the server, not IN osCommerce. Try their tech support again. Tell them you "need to change the permissions on the admin folder in your website". And while you are at godaddy, make sure the website contact info is set up correctly in your regular godaddy account. Good luck.
