Velveeta Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 Steve's post does solve the problem, but just for your own future sanity, if you ever run into this issue in a language definition file again, the most likely culprit is an errant apostrophe in your definition that hasn't been escaped... So when you have this: define('TEXT_SOMETHING', 'This is something's language definition...'); the "something's" in that line has an apostrophe that needs to be escaped, or else the code thinks that's where the string ends, and everything after it is recognized as a syntax error... So the above line should read: define('TEXT_SOMETHING', 'This is something\'s language definition...'); in order to work right... The culprit in your own define statement was right here: Our Collector's Editions are great for beginners and advanced users alike. Collector's should have been Collector\'s...
