Guest
HI All, Well my website is now taking shape and I am hoping to get this live soon, so first a BIG THANK you to all the people who have helped me with various answers to questions over the last couple of weeks. However I am now tring to activate my SSL, my web site is hosted on FASTHOSTS and i have created a SSL folder which is shared. I have spoke to FASTHOSTS support and they have said that I need to drop the various files into my SSL FOLDER on the server for me to be able to display the secured padlock on my web site when customers put there personal details in. At the moment I dont need to worry about the payment gateway as this is with PAYPAL which is already secure. I would appreciate any help please. Thank you Vaughan www.perfume2you.co.uk/catalog
Rachael w.
Some servers require the same information in both the http and https folders for the ssl to function properly. If you are running a server with plesk, copy the osc files from your http to your https folder. In the setup for that domain check the box "Use a single directory for housing SSL and non-SSL content" Of course this is only with plesk, you didnt say what you were using to access your server. Rachael w.
dumb question, I know, but I have to ask (you didnt say)... is your admin/backup.php file on your server (in the htdocs folder)? Did it get lost somewhere? If it is indeed missing, just pop the file in from the original osc catalog file you downloaded.
