Scenario: new osCommerce user, trying to install downloads controller 5.3 contribution to use for mp3 downloads. Procedure thus far: 1) configured download section and tested to verify that I can download mp3s (successful) 2) uploaded all files to remote server 3) copied function commands from the ReadMe to the general.php files 4) added 1 additional option in the Orders Status (Downloadable) to make it a total of 4 options 5) refreshed browser to see if changes have taken effect Situation: So far as i can tell, nothing has changed. I still have the same four options in my Download menu. This is my first attempt at installing a contribution, so I won't be surprised if i missed something pretty obvious. I'm also not a coder by any means; i'm much more of the copy/paste designer. :) I'm used to using Wordpress on my server where installation of plugins/mods are a little more user friendly, but I'm happy to learn how to make this work.
