trouble customizing new page

hi,

i have just added new page using one of the guides around here, and it worked perfect,

however when i went on customizing it, i'm stuck with the parse errors.

 

I'm trying to stick the "quote of the day" script into new page, which causes errors.

the error is

"Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING"

can anybody help please!!!!!!!!!!!! :'(

or recommend some other engine that will work with osc
