xtreme-mobile Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 hello everyone, This is my first attempt at a oscommerce so please be gentle i dont really know that much at the minute. my shop is here (havent got the proper domian set up yet as its not live) http://www.fleeto.100megs16.com please ignore the black logo and the top right logo as im stuck on them so have left them like that for now, if anyone has any fixes fro the blank images i would be much appreciated if you could advise as i seem to get very little response in the forum :( the top right logo is made up of 2 images and the black one is made up of 3 images, is there a way of making it so i can just upload one single image rather than loads of littler ones? anyways let me know what ya think of my site so far :D thanks everyone Visit my website in my profile for prices on woodburning stoves Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The button for langs, i went to change it to English , it didn't work. I know how to do the exchange was just testing that part. It was fast loading, i really like it lots. When clicked, nothing happens. Are there supposed to be language choices here?...and the only currency "choice" in the dropdown is Euro. Hey, I just went back to look (looking at site, writing here)...the cards now look normal;) One more thing... Toward the bottom it says "Terms and Conditions", then directly underneath that it says "Please read our site Terms and Conditions". This seems redundant to me.... If I were you I would definately consider removing the currencies dropdown if there is only one currency, also I would remove the language flag and maybe replace it with a dropdown entitled 'Shop by Brand' and have all the manufacturers in there. I would also move the live help box into the left column because it is taking up to much real estate where it is. Maybe make the picture of the stove bigger and add some nice text next to it about the company. Your shopping cart in the header also has the dreaded ' In your shopping cart 1 items' glitch which obviously should be '1 item' or '2 items'. The breadcrumb trail is also a white text on a white background which needs sorting. On your product info pages the product name looks a bit strange 'Acorn 4 [] - [Aarrow]', you need to remove the [] There are no obvious links to the privacy or shipping pages and more contact info should be added. Not bad at all for a template, you are making good use of the colors and it suits the product. Just make sure you have all the security updates in place to counter measure the mysql injections!
