Voting Poll

Hi, I have taken the files and installed and edited the ones required as per the installation text file. I have now got this error message. not sure wha this is. Also not sure on how the poll.sql is to be installed and or works.

 

1146 - Table 'centre_oscommerce.phesis_poll_config' doesn't exist

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from phesis_poll_config

you should have a facility such as phpmyadmin in your hosting control panel

 

Launch that and select your database, at the top you will see a tab for sql - select that and copy and paste the contents of the sql file and hit go

 

this will install the sql statements

 

any problems let me know

Thanks for that. The site is working again but I do not see it and in the back office it now has a function called Box HEading Polls. When I click on this it cannot find a site http://centrelec.co.za/catalog/admin/FILEN...ected_box=polls

 

Not sure what to do now...

In the instructions it should say some thing like

 

add this to your admin/includes/filenames.php

 

define ('FILENAME_POLLS', 'filename.php');

 

This is only an example as I don't have the polls installed so you will need to search the instructions

Okay, As far as I am aware this is all installed. I have the following in the admin section below tools ---

 

 

BOX_HEADING_POLLS

 

When I click on this it goes to an empty screen saying http 404 not found... How do we fix this to finally make this poll work?

 

Please help as this is getting annoying.
