Jack_mcs
A new site generally won't get more than a page indexed sooner than 2-3 months so you just haven't waited long enough. Moving the shop to the root is a good idea and it is better to do it now than after all of your pages are indexed. Changing the configure files is easy. You just need to remove the references to the catalog directory. Jack_mcs
Those are the only files you need to edit. Just do that and move the shop and you're all set.
