About to install "Featured Box" contributiion but....

Hi all. I am about to install this great looking contribution but i can see a problem ahead :)

Step 15 says "Now you need to create the database table that will be holding the featured products. You need to run the featured_products_english.sql file's contents in your favourite sql interface (like phpmyadmin) to your database ."

I have made a simple addition to the database once before using phpmyadmin when I installed fast easy checkout but that gave a note of what each section of the field had to be and i created it myself.

This just says "run the content of the file" .... does that mean i can just copy and paste the contents and run it as a query or what ? I am a bit lost here, new territory for me :)

Any advise much appreciated

regards

Graham

Google is your friend! Try searching for "phpMyAdmin tutorial" or "how-to run sql phpMyAdmin".

You will find that there are plenty of hosting companies that have set up tutorials, like this one. Maybe your own hosting providers has one.

You can either copy/paste the sql content in phpmyadmin or upload the file directly.

Option 1:

In the text area under "SQL" where it says "Run SQL query/queries on database", paste the content of the file here and then click "GO"

Option 2:

Under "Or Location of the text file: " browse and upload the file itself, then click "GO"
