I need someone to get the bugs out of my oscommerce and set up my payment module. Two customers have paid and I don't know where their money went as my credit card and paypal was never set up by the designer. Can someone help me. Please email me at the [email protected]. I even have trouble finding replies on this forum. Thanks

Hello,

some sugestions:

1)Standard paypal that comes with oscommerce 2.2 has a problem that is if a customer does not reach success page then orders will not be logged.

This might happen because YOur auto return is not set to on in paypal or the customer for some reason did not reach back to your success page.

Solution:

1)Install order holding contribution so no orders get lost.

2)Install Paypal IPN contribution. i recommend it highly.

3)Set auto return to true on in Your paypal profile.

Regards,

Satish

The standard cc module does not charge customers any money nor does it send money anywhere....it just collects cc data so you can process cc's on your offline machine.
