alfinator
I have an issue that has been bugging me since I first started using osCommerce (over 2 years ago). I have some categories that, when clicked, display all of the sub-categories in the main page area, along with recently added products. However, I have other categories (which also contain sub-categories) that, when clicked, only display the product listing in the main page area. I've poked around to no avail trying to get all of my categories to behave the same. Does anyone have an idea how to control this behavior? I would like categories with no sub categories to display the product listing, and categories with sub-categories to display the sub-categories in the main page area. Thanks. I guess either my problem is unique or no one knows how fix this :( To clarify, here are the two situations that occur: Click on category: (sub-categories displayed in categories box as well as the following in the main page window) sub-category 1 sub-category 2 sub-category 3 sub-category 4 sub-category 5 sub-category 6 sub-category 7 sub-category 8 sub-category 9 sub-category 10 sub-category 11 sub-category 12 sub-category 13 sub-category 14 New Products for January Product 1 Product 2 Product 3 Product 4 Product 5 Product 6 Product 7 Product 8 Product 9 or Click on category: (sub-categories displayed in categories box but not in the main page window) Product Listing 1 Product Listing 2 Product Listing 3 Product Listing 4 Product Listing 5 Product Listing 6 Product Listing 7 Product Listing 8 Product Listing 9 Product Listing 10 Product Listing 11 Product Listing 12 Product Listing 13 Product Listing 14 Product Listing 15 Product Listing 16 Product Listing 17 Product Listing 18 Product Listing 19 Product Listing

alfinator
Can you please provide a URL to see? I guess I should of thought of that :) Here is a link to a category with the sub-categories displayed as I would like: http://thoughthammer.com/index.php?cPath=21 Here is a link to a category that, for whatever reason, does not display the sub-categories: http://thoughthammer.com/index.php?cPath=22 Thanks for any help with this. Never mind. I feel like such an idiot  After I thought about this for a bit, I realized that the reason the first example doesn't display a product listing is because there are NO products to list. They are all buried in the sub-categories. Sorry for waste of time.
jonquil
No reason to feel like an idiot. Sometimes the simplest fix is right there, or there wasn't a problem at all. I thought what you were describing and then layed out were conflicting, but no :) No worries, glad it was nothing :) jon It's all just ones and zeros....
