Is there a way to checkout stock on a customers behalf?

I have occasions when it would be handy to be able to checkout a customers cart via the checkout process. Is there a way to do this without changing their email address and then password?

 

Why do I want to do the above?

 

Well... I've had a number of transactions where for some reason the customer has done something strange through the checkout stage, that their products have remained in the cart after they have paid for it. Other occasions have been where the customer has put stuff in the cart, but then rang their credit card details through.

 

Once checked out via the store, its easier to track the product order and despatch process.
