If I'm opening a website with my own products - 5-6, and all I need is the ability to implement a shopping process, then do I really need this system ?

Can the solution of godadday, or paypal pro be enough ?

I would like it to be transparent to the user without the user moving to a store - just look at the item and then choosing, paying ( with everything that is involved with that)

for example : http://www.fleurville.com/catalog.html

I hope I'm being understood.

thank you

OSC to me is the best choice for any web site. You can do everything with it, as little as you want, to the little details of complex. Otherwise i am not sure what your asking.

hope that helps

If that's all the products you have (and will ever have) then it would be far quicker and easier to use PayPal or some other option whereby you just plug your HTML store pages into their checkout applications.

If you are planning on expanding your product line and online business then OSCommerce is the best bet. Its ease of use, scalability and flexibility make it an extremely powerful application and a great choice for any business owner.
