jayeshshiyani
i am trying to import all my products as they are on excel, i exported a dummy so that i get a template of headings and then used that to merge my sheet into which was a success. but then realised i cant import excel/csv etc... what the best way to do this because admin panel is far too time consuming. i am using my sql admin 4.0 if that helps! Guest
You should be able to 'import' a CSV file directly into MySql using phpMyAdmin - make sure your CSV file is in the correct order , navigate to the correct table in phpMyAdmin and import. I have never done this on a products table before though - backup before trying anything like this .
shooter-boy
Why not install Easy Populate? Then you can still go through admin, and stops the risk of buggering up your database completely.
