jordang
I recently moved my site to another host. During the move, the shopping cart did not transfer correctly. Can anyone help me in getting the "bugs" worked out? I would greatly appreicate it. Thanks!!! Jordan

jordang
yespost your questions Hi David, Now my shopping cart is not working correctly. Below is the email my new host sent. <<<Unfortunately as I suspected, the shopping cart system is acting hinky. All the files are uploaded and present... but it looks like the databases are not synced with the new directory paths... but then again OSCommerce isn't my specialty so I can't say for certain what the problem is.>>> Do you have any idea how I can go about finding out what the problem is? Thanks so much for your time & help! Jordan

Jordan the PATHs and the database connection strings are located in : /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php These need to reflect any new PATHs you may hjave on the new server, as well as your connection strings for the db such as username, passwords, database name, etc
shooter-boy
Yeah, make sure they export the database from your old host and import it into theirs too... some people just don't get it.
