DawnG
Unless your customers are ordering for delivery in New York the payment method will not be displayed.
DawnG
I would recommend that you install PayPal IPN instead of the regular PayPal mod that is with the original install. Compare how you have set up your shipping areas to your payment areas.

Do you have to go through PayPal first? as in set up some type of additional service?

Do you have to go through PayPal first? as in set up some type of additional service? PayPal IPN I've found is very easy - your customer selects PayPal as a payment option when they go through checkout, then when they have reviewed and completed their order they are directed to the PayPal log-in screen where they can complete the transaction. Once they have paid the order is stored in the Pending section in Admin, if they leave the cart or PayPal before the payment is complete it is saved in PayPal IPN in the Orders section i.e. do not ship, I usually delete these after 14 days as the customer may wish to complete at a later time. You don't need to set anything else up with PayPal for this mod.

Go to www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions and you should find what you need, always remember to Back Up before you install a mod. Incidently the PayPal IPN mod is the simplest mod to install as you are simply adding new files rather than editing/replacing them.
