Re-sent order dates

I have a printer cartridge site which uses royal mail for shipping. Parcels do get lost or are late and customers do contact us to find out why their parcel is late/lost etc. Is there a contribution that will allow in admin in the customers orders section to record the date a parcel was re-sent?

 

Or if anyone has any ideas on how this could be done.
