What I want to do is be able to connect my phpBB installation with my osCommerce install so that people in usergroup A of my forum can access a different pricing scheme to people not in that usergroup. Any ideas or contributions that will help me reach that, cause I've been looking and so far all I can see is that I'll need to separate installations to pull this off.
Guest Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 there are customer groups related contributions like this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,716 There is also a phpbb bridge module you could try but you need to do mods to the phpbb database to identify the groups of customers. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4501 Worth also checking the phpbb modules available if they have alternatives for user groups. But even as it is you could use the group_id field for the dbase queries.
