New Products Box too Wide

I've searched high and low to change the width of the New Products box on my site.

 

The box is so wide that it is causing a scroll bar to be needed to view the entire site for

those users without widescreen.

 

I've already tried setting the max value of new prods shown to 0.

 

I've already tried commenting the box out completely.

 

For some reason the site is still holding a place for that box and I can't find the setting

anywhere.
