w0w Posted January 15, 2007 Author Posted January 15, 2007 what? attributes dont work in a default oscommerce???
♥toyicebear Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 what?attributes dont work in a default oscommerce??? Attributes work in oscommerce. But stock are not related to attributes. scenario 1. ie. you have 3 pieces of item tshirt-01 you set stock to 3 in the add product screen you sell 2 and have only 1 left, the oscommerce product stock now shoes only 1 item left. So far so good scenario 2. ie. you have 3 pieces of item tshirt-02 1 size s , 1 size m and 1 size l you set stock to 3 in the add product screen So you now also add attributes to the product called size, with the option of S , M or L You sell 2 and have only 1 left, the oscommerce product stock now showes only 1 item left. Now you do get a problem: The stock showes 1 left , but it does not show which size it is and the customer can still choose between S, M or L on your web site. If you wish to have full kontroll over stock not only for products but also for the differnt attributes you will need to use on of the contributions i mentioned earlier.
