tcliff Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 I agree with another poster that I need a way as well to mark individual products (from an order) as delivered/not delivered in the admin. ie. in the order (admin) there should be a set of buttons, on for delivered (default) and one for not deliverd (Backorder) . Why do i need this? We take orders and then submit to the manufacturer and don't know if a backorder situation exists until aft er the order process has occurred so after the fact we need to go in and denote item x of your order is Backordered and then I need to run a report for all backordered items with customer name and order number so that I can follow up on these items occasionally. I really have no way of tracking this right now and I'm really doing a bad job of it. Any input and feedback are appriciated. I SO love this group. This will give you some understanding how to mark an ordered item with a status. Once you have this then you can run one of the reports to generate a list of backordered items.
