amismo Posted January 13, 2007 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Hi, I am trying to search and read other solutions, but hopefully someone can help me with this. My products are 5 day classes, with attributes like start date, end date, zip code/city, age etc. So I am trying to add these as attributes with different option values, and I need to modify the advanced search page to be able to search by these attributes as well. Any suggestions for a relative newbie? As far as I can see, I can add the attributes in a very cumbersome way to each class via the form in admin which put the information in about 5 different tables. OR I can modify the table product, add the fields I need as product descriptions and hard code sql queries. In which case I may lose other osc features. I cannot use easypopulate apparently. Handles attributes assignmenr better - I think there are a choice of a couple contributions 2. Modifications to the Search to also check attributes. So go have a look at the Contributions area.
