wizardsandwars
Ah Mike, I knew you'd be back. Now see, This question was much better. "How do I alter the look and feel?". It has many of the elements needed of a question. However, you still need to be more specific, but I'll get back to this in a minute. As for your 'installation' files, first we need to know what version you are using. This is pretty standard information, and we've asked now several times. We can not help until you provide us with this answer. As for what you can do AFTER you have it installed, well, that depends on what you want to do. There is quite a few things you can do to alter the 'look and feel' in the Admin section such as image sizes. There are a LOT of things you can do in the CSS file such as colors and fonts. Then there are the columns left and right that you may want to change around. You can turn on and off boxes, make them have rounded or square edges, change the little arrow..etc..etc...etc So, to summarize, download version 2.2. unzip it and upload it to your webserver. Go to 'http://<your domain>/catalog/install' and answer the questions is asks you. When you have specific questions, please make sure to include as MUCH information as possible, and be a specific as possible. And most of all, take it easy, man. Life is too short. BTW, you still owe me an apology. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
