tomk358
This might be a really dumb question- I have a website on a shared SSL cert, on a shared server. There are 2 folders for the website- httpdocs and httpsdocs which contain different things. So from what I can understand, if you connect securely to the https side of the site, you see those documents. Makes sense. The problem is that when I go to administer my OScommerce installation, the images are on the http side, and don't show up in the https side, where /admin points to. Maybe the whole thing is installed wrong, but I'm not sure what the right way to do it- do I put the oscommerce stuff in the http side? do I put duplicates online? seems like a bad idea to me, especially from an administation standpoint... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest
yes unfortunately this creates a maintenance headache and there is little you can do about it. It is caused by the host setup. You should choose a host without this limitation.
