HTTP 500 errors at checkout and other actions

hi,

i finally got osc setup right on my system. (winMe,Apache 1.3.26,php4.2.3)

 

now when i come to the point where i would save a new product or category in the admin it gives a http 500 error. this is basicly like this with any save operation, or checkout, or adding to the cart.

 

the operation is processed but i always have to use the back button of the browser to do any thing else... can't checkout.

 

can anyone help me out?
