Admin pages look different than knowledge base pics

I'm a new user trying to use knowledge base to setup my store. The pics in the knowledge base don't match the ones I am trying to configure in my store. I am using Godaddy and loaded OScommerce through Godaddy.

My question is - am I using the latest version or do I have to load contributions to my store to get the same look?

Some of the stuff in the knowledge is for the new release that is currently in beta.
