knott
I'm in the middle of moving my osc store to a new server. old server still working with domain still pointing to it. before I move the domain to point at my new server I want to.... 1. test that its all working 2. install a couple of contributions & test them. The site on the new server seems to be ok, however I cant really test it - as soon as a product is clicked it links to the domain. the link to the new sever test site is something like https://newserver.vm.bytemark.co.uk:8443/si...ite.co.uk/shop/ I've tried altering my configure files with this as the path but it doesn't work. Many thanks
Jack_mcs
The link you provided doesn't work. On shops without domain names, the IP can be used. You will need to ask your host what that is. If you have a url rewrite contribution installed, it will probably have to be turned off while using the IP. So I'm still stuck. I've sent you the actual link to see if that explains anything any clearer. Graeme
