MrMcLeod Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 i have been through the file manager (i use webhost4life) and have found no way to edit the bold lettering asking customers "What's new here?" I would like to change that text, and possibly get rid of the next line that asks if they would like to login or register. does anyone know the path to the file where this text can be altered or removed? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks, john Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wheeloftime Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 bump 10 whiplashes for bumping :D As for your initial question: layouts can be changed through the stylesheet.css file in your shop's root directory and for changing textual things you can go to the, for english ie., (catalog)/includes/languages/english directory. All files there are related to some part of osCommerce and most of the time you can guess what file you need to change by looking at the url.
