Invado
Hi there, I had 2 customers tell me that somewhere along the checkout procedure, a message pooped up that the security certificate (or something to that effect) did not match the site (or parent site). It works from my computer, but I'm wondering if I named something incorrectly while I was designing the store and or made mods to it. The store is now live (for about 2 weeks). Site is www.invado.ca/invadoshop/catalog. Don't go through checkout as the store is live.
Jack_mcs
The certificate is issued to sslpowered.com but your ssl pages are using invado.ca.sslpowered.com. That can be corrected in the configure file. Invado
Thanks for your response...I did my store with alot of help from this site, but I am relatively new to this stuff...Would you be so kind as to provide a few more details in how to correct this problem. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks The certificate is issued to sslpowered.com but your ssl pages are using invado.ca.sslpowered.com. That can be corrected in the configure file. Jack_mcs
SSL certificates will only work, properly, for the domain they were purchased for. If you purchase one for www.mysite.com, it won't work correctly for mysite.com. So you have to setup your includes/configure.php file to make the url's in it use the correct certificate name. If you go in and change all instances of invado.ca.sslpowered.com to sslpowered.com, it might work. The second level domain yu are using (invado.ca.) may not work that way though. Your host should be able to help you out in that case.
