theperfumenet
Why are my posts being deleted? I have asked legit questions about different aspects of osCommerce, and 3 out of 4 of my posts have been deleted without even telling me as to why? ♥Vger
Well, without knowing what was in the deleted posts I can't say for sure, but some possible causes are: 1. Advertising services 2. Asking people to PM you if they need help Both of the above are usually stepped on quite heavily. 1. Is to stop people using the forum to advertise their service and 2. is to stop people from trying to get around the ban on advertising services by suggesting to people that they PM you for off-forum help. Do either of these fit any of the deleted posts? Or were you complaining? That usually also gets stepped on. Vger

Like one was wanting to randomize the products shown on the home page. Another was about how to add more rows to the products shown on the home page. Nothing about advertising, and nothing about asking PM stuff. Thanks for the quick reply. I am shocked this post did not get deleted.
