Ajeh Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 Peek in your databases and make sure your language is defined as NO and not as no or No and that the currency is defined as NOK and not as nok or Nok, etc. And you could look for the same definitions in Admin to see if it uses upper/lower/mixed case on the definitions.

osfdeath Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Shop is located at http://www.anywherecomputer.com/catalog/default.php I seem to be having a simular problem (using v2.2) I've set for only 2 currencies (USA & CDN) CDN is set for the default yet every time I load the store (default.php), it shows USA with a 0 price on everything :( I also cannot set the USA currency to 0.6000000 (always resets to 0.6000002) (show below is myphpadmin and the admin area settings) Troy
osfdeath Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 oh - one more thing If, once I've let the catalog load, I switch to CDN, it all works out fine. Then, if i change it back to US, it shows the right prices for the values I've set... Troy
osfdeath Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 bump anyone have any answers for this prob? :) Troy
osfdeath Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 :( Still no ideas? this renders the store not usable Just realized that even if you choose US Dollar and it is showing prices, when you check out, everything is back to zero. Just giving the stuff away free with free shipping ;) Have to head out for the weekend so you all have a great one Troy
osfdeath Posted October 6, 2002 Posted October 6, 2002 Does anyone know why this is happening? Some help...or is there no answers? Troy
osfdeath Posted October 7, 2002 Posted October 7, 2002 Ok I figured this out (quite by accident of course) For those who would like the answer, here it is: (Note: v2.2) Log into the admin area. Go to Configuration Click My Store There is an option listed here that will make the default language use the default currency. If you want english as the default langauge but DO NOT want US Dollar as the default currency, change this to false an voila! Troy
mazza Posted October 14, 2002 Posted October 14, 2002 My problem did not go away this easy, but I found the answer. Using swedish translation for 2.1 the language file svenska.php did not have the rigth heading section. I cutted the currency section from english.php and now it is working. "Use no way as way, have no limitation as limitation." - Bruce Lee
foxfire Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 neither worked for me, I only have 1 currency EURO but several languages, i solved by activating the option default currency for language and editing all the language file, putting all default currencies to EUR .
dtportnoy69 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Please note while trying to fix your currencies, you should be clearing your sessions table everytime you want to see if the changes you made worked or not. WHY? Because in v2.2 there is a session variable for currency. If you are using the same browser window that showed USD as default it is very possible that your currencies ARE working after the changes you made, but are reverting to USD because your session variable is set to USD. Clearing the sessions tables (and if you want to be extra certain, your cookies too) will show the true currency changes.
natureslifeforce Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 AHHH, thankyou!!! It's always the simple answer isn't it. Even though I clear the cache and cookie, prices would still not show - restarted brower and : Hello prices!! Thanks ;)
mikerox Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 I am using English language and US Dollars (only) USD is defined in english.php When I open my browser and go to the page, the prices are all shown correctly on all items. As soon as I click on an item to view it or at it to the cart, all prices on all items go to 0! If I close browser, and re-open, the prices are back correctly, but again, when I click on the item, they all go to 0 :'(

Lancelot Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I'm very new to this and followed the thread. I have the prices entered when adding the product but when I view web site all is zero. All my settings seem to be OK as discussed above. Are there any ideas about what I may be missing? Thanks.
Guest Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 god I love forums... took a while to find the answer but got there in the end!
