afx Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Tried almost everything to fix this but I keep getting an error whether its on Test or production, I have a username and I emailed them to move me to production instead of test and I keep getting An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. checked the php to make sure the website is okay cause I hear they changed the server recently but still no go, any help is appreciated. All I want is for usps to work on the site, if their is another way, feel free to post it! Quote

forty5cal1911 Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I am having the same errors in the default usps shipping module in oscommerce. I have a webtools account. How did you fix this? I have been trying to look through USPS's documentation but cannot glean any really useful information from it. Do I need to edit the usps.php file directly? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Guest Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Anyone know what may be causing USPS to calculate a shipping charge with weight set to "0" yet when I enter true weight I get the shipper error mentioned above error in calculating ....contact the store owner? I am stumped! Quote
slackerjack Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I was having the same problem. I changed several things but the one I thing fixed it was that I changed the "postal code" in minimum values to 5. The default is 4. I think this solved my problem, the only other thing that I done was go to tax rates in one of the other categories and add indiana. I don't think this had any effect as I am not charging tax to the products I sell or to shipping. Hope this helps. Quote I'm not in the middle of nowhere, but I can see it from here!
