Can you place an order without taking payment?

Hi,

 

I have a customer that wants people to be able to place orders on there site and pay by cheque(check) or postal order, So once they add everything to there basket they click the checkout button and they select either cheque (check) / Postal order and there order is placed with the shop. and then they must send in payment before the stock is released.

That's correct. and its pretty standard in osc. So what is your question/problem?

I was jsut wondering if there is a setting i can select called " Check/Cheque" - I dont have Osc installed just no so i cant go looking myself.

In the Payment Module, just activate the Check/Money Order method. Set the default to Processing/Pending. Done.

Pay by cheque is a feature in osc. and it works exactly the way you described it.
