Permissions!!?!?

My store has been working for some time now, but I decided to have the graphics upgraded on the site. So, I asked the hosting company to chage the permissions of the store, so the graphics could be editable.

 

So- the store came up as a white page, and I asked them to fix that- apparently the permissions were set wrong (by the hosting co), so that got fixed. But now I cant access the admin section of the store. I get these errors (the files do exist, and I returned the site to an earlier backup before any changes. Still, the page doesnt load. ) Is there a list of permissions anywhere? Tech support says its a permissions issue, but they wont fix it- I dont think they know what they changed...
