Missing images in installation DIRs

Hi

 

I have just installed OSC, looks great!.... :thumbsup:

 

Some images do not exist within any of the expected DIR pre/post installation, and some images appear to be broken up, as though corrupted....

 

I expect that I will add my own custom images/graphics, but can any one advice

you will eventually overwrite or remove most of the .gifs that come preinstalled. So not to worry just yet.

Did you install it yourself or use a preinstaller? I know I was doing a site with olm hosting and they claimed they could install it for you. They failed to do it (and I had the same corrupted images) and through 3-4 tech support calls over a few weeks I realized they were very incompetent so I did a manual installation and it worked perfectly.

I have installed oscommerce in the past and I haven't noticed this. I just installed it again and I'm seeing the same thing... broken or missing images.
