Partitioning business and presentation logic (categories, product_info...)

Hi,

 

I'm an experienced PHP developer, doing my first osCommerce project.

 

I really need to seperate sql / business logic from html presentation stuff (especially in nasty files like product_info, categories, etc).

 

I know of STS and BTS, however STS is already installed,but insufficient, and I don't want to install BTS in case of conflicts with other modules/contributions - or is that not a problem?

 

Ideally, someone else might have already refactored some of these files so that HTML etc is seperate from SQL/business logic - is there a contribution like this, where I can simply replace a few files here and there, rather than doing extensive changes with BTS?
