Is there some place one can download a new copy Help Dave dhemmer1@mnpioneers.com Well, besides it is always good to keep a backup of your files you can simply go here and download the installation package. From inside the zip you can retrieve any single file you need and thus you can simply restore your english.php to the original by unpacking that file from the zip package. Normally this would indeed mean the english.php file was missing but appearantly it isn't and the problem must be elsewhere. The line number for application_top.php makes no sense on a stock osC file.
dhemmer1
So the shop has been working before you made change(s) ? Normally this would indeed mean the english.php file was missing but appearantly it isn't and the problem must be elsewhere. The line number for application_top.php makes no sense on a stock osC file. Yes the shop was working. I was trying to make a minor modification as per toyicebear post on Mar 23 2005 - so per the instructions I located the english.php file. attempted to find // page title define('TITLE', 'osCommerce'); and change it to my personal web name. after making the change I started getting the above error. I still get the error after uploading the new english.php file. I suspect something else must have happened. Is there any way to find the problem from the error messages? any help will be appreciated dh
