How do I accept CC?

I have enabled the cc modules in the cpanel. Now what do I do? Do I have to contact someone or.... how do I get paid???

You have to have access to a credit card terminal to use that option. That will cost around $20/month, or more, plus fees. If yours is a new shop, using the paypal method is a better choice. You can create a paypal business account for free and the only cost is the per item fee.

I do have a credit card terminal. Is the credit card information that is entered in the site, emailed to me?

 

Also, for the paypal or credit card option, is there anything futher I have to do other than selecting these options?

You can easily test the cc module by just placing an order on your site. If you have the split number option enabled, the middle cc numbers will be emailed to you and the rest stored in the database.

 

I don't understand what you mean by "these options." But to use a payment module, you have to install it in admin, eidt its settings and be sure you have an account with whichever payment processor you are using, like paypal.
