Bruno- Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 Hello All, I'm setting up shop on the web... I've OSCommerce working on WIN2K with PHP4 and MySQL. However, when I go to my hosting service... I can't find any information about where to place the files or how to get them created and loaded. I know that php and mysql are both installed and working. I'm trying to set up phpmyadmin and as well that works fine on the localhost. Can anyone tell me where to begin? Thanks in advance! burt Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 FTP. Get LeechFTP from http://stud.fh-heilbronn.de/~jdebis/leechf.../downloads.html and then log into the remote server. Create a catalog directory inside public_html - upload the catalog files into it. Create an admin directory also and upload the admin files into it. Set CHMOD on relevant files (this can be done with LeechFTP). Now hit http://www.<your_domain>/catalog/install/ and follow instructions.
