I downloaded the new ver. and moved the catalog folder it to my www folder on my server. It has 777 and I opened cpanel and created a new database via mysql. I then try to install it like the "quick install" says but I get these errors: (FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!) and (Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.) I have looked for the php.ini file in the catalog folder and cannot locate it. I then found a "patch" for the .htacess but it seems to not work as well. I just did a clean sweep of my server so I'm back to square one and just copied the catalog folder over again...any ideas?
