wzdev
using QBI 2.1, Quickbooks 2005 Premier Professional Services Edition I have been using Quickbooks for approx 6yrs, and am now trying to integrate it with an in development OSCommerce based store. Whenever I create a simple transaction (new customer, one line-item), and try to import it into my Quickbooks I get the error ... "You cannot associate an item with Sales Tax Payable, Undeposited Funds, accounts receivable, or non-posting accounts." I searched the knowlegebase, and found that the above error is often due to a mismatch between the items found in the IIF file, and Quickbooks. I created an empty QB company, and was able to import the IIF --- it created the missing items, w/ no errors. I looked carefully at the items to see where they were different than what is in my live QB company. The only difference I found is that the items got created as "Services" instead of "Inventory Part". I then made some changes in QB so that they items were shown as inventory parts, and the IIF import still worked with the mostly empty company (so I don't think the Services VS Inventory parts was the problem) -- but still got the same error for more real test data. Of course, I need to get it to work with the fully populated test QB data. Anyone have any other ideas on what I should look for? Thanks!
