tkeats
I want to give my customers the ability to sign up with less info. For example. Remove addres but not state or country. remove 'company' Leave things like first and last name, and password. can anyone give a little guidance on this? Also, how can I auto-check the newsletter option in the create_account.php. I do not want this to be an option, until afterwards. tkeats
OK, I think I have managed to do what I want... natewlew: By doing as you suggest, it doesnt it remove it from the regular signup? I want regular registration to occur as ussual, I just want to add an option for a quicker newsletter signup, where I can collect more general information. email, name, city/state etc. The only thing I am missing at the moment is forcing the newsletter checkbox to be checked. (I also want to remove the option to deselect the newsletter in lue of a simple text line that reads 'You will recieve the newsletter') Thomas A signature is something that reflects its user. - The dictionary The question is not, 'to code, or not to code' the question is, 'if we do not code, are we really alive?' -- anonymous
