I have two sites and they run off the same dbase one is live one is test while I was installing a newer ver of snapshot. both using the same database but the new test store the prices are 8% higher. :roll: :roll: anyone have any ideas. Guest Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 ok I tracked it down to taxes. the new store is adding the tax into the price of the item before checkout. how do I get it to only show the real price and do the tax at check out.? Guest Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 ok all you VAT and no vat people. why is this in the app_top file and not in the control panel so you can turn it on and off. :roll: :roll: define('DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX', false); // Display prices with tax (true) or without tax (false) I looked all around the control panel and could not figure out why they tax is being included in the price listed. this need to be added to the control panel so you can turn it on and off. #2 I want to thank you guys to switching to this type of forum. it kicks butt over the old way.
