sbabicki Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I have created my oscommerce website(www.moonsetgallery.com) I created an index.html page to put in front of my catolog. this page consists of a picture and a link to www.moonsetgallery.com/catolog/index.php. The link on this page works for a while and then seems to break........(the page just sits there when you click on it). I check my site with IE7 and FireFox. Most of the time it continues to work with FireFox even whne IE7 stops working.... which is the case at this time. the index.html page was created with adobe go live cs2. have i done something really dumb? could this be an IE7 issue? has anyone ever seen this? thanks much I am a newbie trying to get the hang of it! Please check out the site and give any pointers.
usernamenone Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 It worked fine when I checked but if you keep having issues with the image try replacing the hot spot with the image linked to your catalog/index Like this <a href="http://www.moonsetgallery.com/catalog/index.php"> <img border="0" src="moonsetgallery.com/catalog/images/banners/HIRESLOGO.jpg"></a> And while you are at it you may want to reduce the size of your image. A index page that is 193.34 KB (197983 bytes) large is not only over kill but most prospective customers will be long gone before waiting for your page to download. I just checked again and it seems you have a hot spot that is linked to your favicon.ico somewhere in the picture that is causing your bad link.
