Zone (US State) dependent product pricing?

How might I make product prices vary by zone (US state in my application)? Some of the products, but NOT all, are subject to an excise tax. The excise tax must be paid on in-state sales of this set of products, but not on out-of-state sales. Sales tax must be paid on all store products that are sold in-state, but not out-of-state; no problem with sales tax - handled via tax zones. It appears that for products subject to the excise tax, I need one price for in-state customers to reflect the additional taxes, and another for out-of-state customers.

 

Any suggestions?
