Category and Sub Category Images

Hi

 

I have problem with category and sub category images. I have 4 category of products in my shop. Each category has 6 sub categories and each sub categories has 7 or 8 products. Now when someone clicks on main category. It gives distorted images of category at right to and array of sub categories at the bottom.

 

Is anybody has an idea how to fix this problem. May be have to resize the images. If I change the image size. The product images are changing not the category images.

 

Please help.
