warrenerjm
Hi I have spent 20 hours (I know it should have taken 2hrs but I worked through all the errors with slow logic & learning!) & now have a working Newsdesk. I do have one remaining problem that I am sure if probably obvious but I have no energy left! Newsdesk contribution This is the contributions: 1: Bug Fix 8/8/06 Didn't need to do as I am able to upload 3 pics without changing the code 2:News desk SEO title tags 20/4/06 This too doesn't work & I would really like it too. Does anyone know how to get the header tags & newsdesk to produce the excellant SEO tags? Might have to ask this one on the HTC thread. 3:newsdesk_index.php tag clean up & fix 11/3/06 Doesn't work. Thread says wrong as well so left. 4:newsdesk images 23/1/06 also read that this doesn't work, so am going to use the suggestion of pixel_trans.gif to cover old images not needed. 5: newsdesk v.1.48.3-update 20/10/05 WORKS This is probably not in the coding, but when I use newsdesk>article manager i get asked several times for my login password. I am still able to edit etc if I put the passwords in or not. I cannot understand why this is the only operation in admin that requires me to call on the htaccess again & again. I also do not see the images/star1 etc & icon.gif even though they are in the right place they are being called from. Do I need to do something with the permissions for these pics? Possibly these images are causing the problem above? This is a great contribution for anyone considering it & thanks to the authors. Thanks Julie
warrenerjm
Hi This is really annoying me now :( constantly entering my password for the pics (i think) to come up & then I can edit or preview. I'm missing something but I can't see the trees for the wood :P I'm guessing permissions on the images, but what level & which ones? Only the ones that came with the contribution, or  Suggestions greatfully appreciated. Thanks Julie
