sunny88 Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 Hi all, I am using paypal ipn (v1.3) and am experiencing a pretty major problem during the checkout process. 1. Users are brought over to PayPal to make their payments. If they are an unregistered PayPal user, when they complete their payment, PayPal tries to get them to sign up with PayPal rather than give them the button to complete their transaction and return to the merchant. As such, most customers just stop after the submission of their payment and never return back to my merchant site. This results in me never receiving: a. Email notification that the order has been submitted b. I can find their order in the orders view of the admin console, BUT I am not able to see what "comments" the buyer has submitted with their order 2. In my PayPal profile options, I have "Instant Payment Notification (IPN)" turn Off. Is this the correct setting? If anyone can help with these, I'd be most grateful. Many thanks in advance. - Sunny.
